Jr. Olympic Pool

Located at 2701 Park West BLVD. The Pool season begins in April and ends in October. The Park West swim team uses our Jr. Olympic Pool. The 'Pirates' are a summer non-profit for kids 5-18 that homeowners can join. Please contact parkwestpirates@gmail.com to inquire.

Zero-Entry Pool

The Zero-Entry pool is a smaller, family-friendly amenity. Zero-Entry refers to the sloping side of the pool which allows residents to walk gradually into the water. Both pools feature drink vending machines and newly updated bathrooms.

Park West Amenities are managed by a fob system. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. There are no lifeguards on duty and swim is at your own risk. However, both pools are always monitored by attendants.

Pool Rules and Regulations

POOL RULES AND REGULATIONS

Pool Hours are 7:30AM to dusk or 9:00PM, whichever comes first.

  • Pool staff will deny entry to anyone who cannot verify place of residence in Park West and/or enters without a fob.
  • GLASS IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE POOL AREA. Use Paper or Plastic containers only. When glass accidentally breaks, pieces could end up in the pool resulting in closure of the pool to be drained and start the cleanup process.
  • For your safety, do not swim alone. Management is not responsible for accidents or injuries. Persons using the Swim Club do so at their own risk.
  • Minors under the age of 12 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult member, 18 years and older, and may not be left unattended. Parents/Caregivers are responsible for infants and non-swimmers at all time, particularly in the zero-entry pool.
  • Swimming is permitted only during posted operating hours. Persons entering the pool after scheduled pool hours will be considered trespassing and will be subject to arrest or termination of privileges.
  • No swimming during thunder and/or lightning storms per DHEC regulations. Water re-entry is at the sole discretion of the pool operator.
  • All swimmers must wear appropriate swimwear. Cut-offs, jeans, and Bermuda shorts are not considered appropriate attire.
  • Children who are not potty trained must wear swim diapers and rubber pants under suit.
  • No swimming and/or presence in the water under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • All swimmers must shower before entering pool.
  • No swimming and/or presence in the water with a communicable disease or skin, eye, ear, or nasal infections.
  • No eating or drinking in pool or within 4 ft. of pool edge.
  • Rough or boisterous conduct, playing or throwing balls, running, flips into the pool, wrestling, pushing, excessive water splashing, dunking, or imitating drowning person, etc. will not be permitted. No diving off of another’s back or shoulders. Warnings and or loss of privileges may result from a breach of swim club rules. Please respect the pool attendants. They do have the authority to remove swimmers from the facility for not following the rules.
  • Respect others by keeping noise to a minimum. Radios, televisions, and other personal electronic devices must be kept at a reasonable volume so as not to interfere with the enjoyment of other members and their guests. If electronic devices pose a noise problem, the use of headphones may be required.
  • Respect others by covering the pool furniture with a towel when using tanning oils, leaving the pool furniture in pool areas, disposing of trash properly and keeping the pool gates closed.

THE FOLLOWING ARE PROHIBITED:

• Climbing over the fence and/or gate is prohibited.

• Pets, skateboards, water guns and bicycles.

• Snorkeling equipment, or other similar devices.

• Gum is not allowed. Gum clogs the filters.

• Spitting or “nose-blowing” in pool.

• Smoking inside the pool fence.

Any person violating any of these rules is subject to expulsion from the Swim Club for the remainder of the year at the sole discretion of the Amenity Manager.

The Master Association is not responsible for the loss or theft of any personal possessions.

Management may close the pool at any time to make needed repairs, clean and balance chemicals, or in response to inclement weather.

Any accident occurring in the Swim Club must be reported immediately to the CAMS Management Office at (843)408-4064 or the Management After Hours Emergency number: (877) 672-2267.

The Amenity Center is provided for the enjoyment of all homeowners. As a safety measure, the Master Association periodically adopts and posts rules and regulations and monitors the compliance of various amenities. Members and their guests use the amenities at their own risk, and agree to indemnify Park West Master Association, Community Association Management Services and any other related Park West entity for any accident or injury suffered on the premises.
